🐽 Smell – Noticing with Your Nose

“Slow your nose, fellow explorer — calm grows when you notice.”

Finn Smelling - Main Image.png

👃 Scavenger Hunt Challenge:

Finn wrinkles his nose and smiles.

“The forest is full of invisible treasures,” he whispers. “Each one has its own smell waiting to be noticed.”

👃 Five forest smells are hiding here! Can you find them all?

  • a baked cookie

  • a fresh pine cone

  • spring flowers

  • a rain puddle

  • sweet berries

Pause and imagine each smell as you go.

Which smell feels cozy? Which one feels fresh? Which one makes you smile?

Explorer Challenge:

Finn says, “Let’s follow our noses at home!”

Find a quiet spot and notice three smells around you.

They might be food, soap, fresh air, or something cozy nearby.

Are they strong or gentle?

Do any of them remind you of something you love?

💛 Parent Moment:

When your child pauses to notice a smell, pause with them.

Calm deepens when we slow down and breathe together.

🍃 When you’re ready, choose another sense or follow the pawprints back to Finn’s trail.
